Interstate 10 driving east (preferred route)
From I-10 east, turn right at Water Street exit, last downtown exit before
Wallace Tunnel. Stay in left lane. At first traffic light, turn
left onto Government Street.
Go 9 blocks until you pass through the large Broad Street
intersection. Just
before Compass Bank is 910 Government Street, on the right. The historic Roberts-Taylor-Isbell House is an
antebellum Greek Revival period museum.

From I-10 east, exit left onto I-65 north (toward Montgomery), go
approximately 200 yards, turn right at first exit onto Highway
90/Government Boulevard.
Continue driving east approximately 1.5 miles, following directions below:

Highway 90/Government
Blvd. becomes Government Street at the Civil War cannon, where the avenue
of oaks begins. Continue traveling east past the 9th traffic light (Common
Street). From this point, the eighth building on the left, between Compass Bank and the
corner drug store, are the offices of ISBELL & ASSOCIATES, Registered
Professional Reporters, in the historic Roberts-Taylor-Isbell House, an
antebellum Greek Revival period museum.
